We are excited to announce our appearance in the Colorectal Disease peer reviewed medical journal of two article abstracts, the second abstract, is entitled ‘The eXroid Clockface Assessment Tool (eCAT®): a new tool to assist in recording proctological examination’.

The eCAT tool we are delighted to confirm, has been copyrighted, and we hope it will empower our patients to get a more thorough assessment carried out by their healthcare practitioners, which, once it has been filled out and the findings drawn onto the tool, can then be used to help the patient understand their problems better. It can then be updated following a treatment, which can clarify the improvements taking place in an easy-to-understand pictorial format.

Our creation of the eCAT tool underlines that eXroid® is not only a provider of the most progressive treatment for haemorrhoid disease, but we are also actively driving scientific research and medical technology to improve this condition for the millions of sufferers.

If you would like to learn more about the eCAT download our leaflet on the tool here.
