eXroid® electrotherapy: a low risk treatment for internal haemorrhoids for those taking anticoagulants

Many of our patients take anti-coagulants and/or anti-platelet agents, and, until now, there has been little documented literature about the safety of using electrotherapy when taking these medications. For all other available haemorrhoid treatments, it would be more risky to treat patients on anti-coagulants, due to their modes of action. We have recently analysed the data from our successfully treated patients whilst staying on their anti-coagulants, to further demonstrate the versatility and safety of this innovative procedure.

We have successfully had our abstract published at the ESCP.
